Go After Freedom Studio is a Black woman-owned web design and marketing studio that builds the websites, AI assistants and systems Black women founders need to stop running everything by hand. I started it because I've lived the difference those systems make, and I want every sister building a brand to have them.
Here's how I got here.
It started with wanting my time back
I'm from Atlanta, a Spelman woman, and for years I lived and worked across Asia: Shanghai, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Bali.
I saved up teaching in China. Then I spent two years in Thailand teaching myself digital marketing and landing my own remote clients. That's when I fell in love with being in control of my time, my location and my creativity. That's where Go After Freedom was born.
But freedom didn't come from a plane ticket. It came from systems. A website that answered questions while I slept. An email list that kept working when I was offline. A simple way to see my numbers without digging through five apps. Every system I set up gave me a few more hours back.
Then I taught myself to code
Marketing got people to the door. But too often, the door was broken: a website you couldn't book on, orders living in DMs, clients emailing files back and forth.
So I taught myself to code. Today I'm a full stack developer and a marketer, which means I can build your website or app and get it in front of the right people. You don't have to manage three different freelancers and hope they talk to each other.
Who we built this studio for
We work with Black women founders in beauty, wellness, food, travel and lifestyle: lash techs and salon owners, private chefs and caterers, coaches, retreat hosts and boutique owners.

Our first client build was a mobile ordering app for Dr. Shell's Soul Food, so orders could come out of the DMs and into one place. You can see that and the rest of our work on the Work page.
Why "freedom" is in the name
Go After Freedom means every action should move you toward the life you want. I build around seven freedoms: time, location, financial, creative, mental, emotional and spiritual. Every project we take on is designed to give you back at least one of them. I wrote more about that in The Seven Freedoms.
